I seem to be posting quite a bit on Vietnamese food recently but it's quite the dominant cuisine in the household - today, its bánh xèo! A dish that must be done right for it to taste amazing.
What makes it so good?
- The crispiness of the batter once fried makes it that enjoyable to eat.
- the mixture: as with the Vietnamese cuisine, plenty of herbs and veggies to keep it healthy! But also, to have a bit of meat (tends to be pork) to give that satisfaction at the end of a meal.
- Fish sauce! Make sure you master how to make a really good one!
If you see this on the menu at a restaurant, make sure you try it! You will be pleasantly surprised!
